I sit in the front row at a Shibari Suspension demonstration. My emotions swing from the Top to the Bottom, watching their concentration, watching their bodies go through all the motions.
In my case, I dont know how it works for ohters, I have a similar experience when I watch modern dancers. Without moving as they do, what I see translates into a mental participation. The mirror neurons are certainly involved in this act.
MAKE NO MISTAKE:  Rope bondage–particularly suspension–is some of the most dangerous and injury-prone bondage that you can do.  This is absolutely edge play. 

I go home and plant the seed of my memories in my figurines.
